Monthly Letter

Dear Parents and Students:
Please note that there are no regular lessons from Monday, April 14th through Monday, April 21st for Spring Break. There are some makeup lessons scheduled on April 14th and 15th as I will be in town those days. If you are eligible for a makeup lesson and would like to come on one of those days, please reply to this email and let me know.
The student recital is scheduled for Saturday, May 3rd, 12pm at the Chevy Chase Library meeting room on the lower level. Pieces do not need to be memorized for this event and there is no fee. Students are asked to dress as they would for any performance (i.e. no jeans, shorts, flip flops, etc). The recital should be around an hour long and all performers and family are asked to stay for the entire event. We will be working on recital protocol and choosing pieces during lessons over the next few weeks. The following students are signed up:

The deadline for 2025-2026 registration is coming up soon. A copy of the registration form for next year is attached here for your convenience. Please remember that to take advantage of the extra $20 per student early payment discount for full tuition payments, you must turn in your registration form and full payment by the deadline.
The school year piano calendar goes through Wednesday, May 21st, which includes a makeup day for Tuesday and Wednesday students. Other makeup days for piano will begin on May 22nd. Many of you have already scheduled your makeup lessons. If you have not already done so, please email me to request your dates/times. If you need a copy of the makeup lesson email, just let me know.
The summer program is a separate program that begins in June. The summer brochure is attached here.
